I’m Jarrod Borne—a father, trainer, and athlete. Born and raised in Louisiana, my journey into personal training began in high school, the day I tore my ACL. Despite undergoing surgery, my recovery didn’t go as planned, leaving me with chronic pain for years. However, what initially seemed like a setback turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Faced with the challenge of managing my own pain, I immersed myself in studying anatomy, physiology, exercise science, movement, and massage therapy, searching for the best ways to care for myself. It wasn’t long before I realized that my newfound knowledge could benefit others facing similar challenges.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from a wide range of sources. I hold a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine, a massage therapy license from Delgado, and a background in exercise science from Tulane University. In addition to this formal education, I’ve studied various movement styles such as tai chi, calisthenics, and yoga. I use all of these skills to help clients of all ages improve their quality of life.

In my journey, I’ve embraced a philosophy of lifelong learning and a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. My training philosophy centers around longevity and safety. For me, the number one rule in exercise is “don’t get hurt.” I believe that fitness should be enjoyable and sustainable—never a source of suffering. It’s about finding ways to care for our bodies that allow us to exercise every day, both now and in the decades to come.

I specialize in helping people exercise safely and effectively. I focus on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and overall movement quality. I encourage my clients to embrace practices that will serve them not just today, but also 10, 20, 30, and 40 years down the road.
